Ayotte Applauds Afforadble Housing Grants for NH

-

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte today announced that the U.S. Treasury Department’s Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund will be awarding $1.5 million to the NH Community Loan Fund for their affordable housing initiatives that help provide financing for low and moderate income families in New Hampshire. In March, Ayotte urged the Senate Appropriations Committee to fully fund the CDFI Fund in upcoming appropriations bills.

“As we work to provide affordable housing for Granite State families and individuals, this grant will help supplement the excellent work of organizations in our state like the NH Community Loan Fund, who have already made such an impact in serving their communities,” said Senator Ayotte. “I’ll continue championing federal funding like this for our state so we can leverage private sector investment to fund community and economic development work and ensure New Hampshire remains a great place to work and live.”
