New Hampshire Housing Recognizes Top 10 Loan Originators

BEDFORD, N.H. – March 29, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority recently named its 2009 top 10 loan originators. These individuals originated more than 110 loans and generated over $17 million in first-time home buyer mortgages through the Authority’s Single Family Mortgage Program.

“The loan originators we’ve named have gone above and beyond to help put first-time buyers into a safe and affordable mortgage product. It is especially important in today’s mortgage market to recognize those lenders and loan originators who put the borrower’s long-term financial welfare first,” said Liz Lamoureux, managing director of home ownership at New Hampshire Housing. “New Hampshire Housing appreciates the hard work these loan originators do to help first-time buyers realize their dreams of home ownership.”

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority is a tax exempt, public benefit corporation established by the state legislature. The Authority operates a number of programs designed to assist low- and moderate-income persons to obtain housing. Since its inception, New Hampshire Housing has helped more than 37,000 families purchase their own homes and has been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 14,000 multi-family housing units.
