New Hampshire Housing Recognizes Top 10 Lenders


BEDFORD, N.H. – February 28, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority recently named its “Top 10” participating lenders for 2010. Together, these lenders closed 81% of the loans extended to low- and moderate-income first-time home buyers through the agency’s Single Family Mortgage Program.

The Single Family Mortgage Program provides affordable mortgage financing with low, fixed interest rates, low down payment requirements, and cash assistance grants. To qualify for the program, borrowers must meet certain income limits and purchase price limits.

“The lenders we’ve named have gone above and beyond to help more than 527 first-time buyers safely realize their dreams of home ownership,” said Liz Lamoureux, managing director of Home Ownership at New Hampshire Housing. “The Authority appreciates their hard work and is pleased to continue working with these lenders to serve buyers striving to purchase their first homes.”
