BEDFORD, N.H. – October 29, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority announced today that Kendall Buck has been appointed to the Authority’s Board of Directors. The nine New Hampshire Housing Board members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Executive Council.
Kendall Buck is the executive vice president of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of New Hampshire (HBRANH). In this role, his responsibilities include overseeing a staff of five and 10 local home builder associations with a total membership of 700. He is one out of a handful of executives in northern New England who has earned the certified association executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
Prior to joining the HBRANH in April 2003, Buck was with the National Association of Home Builders, Washington D.C., as a regional field representative, where he provided association management consulting services to state and local builder associations in the northeastern states. He also spent four years as executive officer of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Maine. Before entering the association management profession, Buck was in the residential and light commercial construction industry for 17 years.
His term as an Authority Board member expires July 1, 2011.
New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority is a self-supporting, public benefit corporation established by the state legislature. The Authority operates a number of programs designed to assist low- and moderate-income persons with obtaining housing. Since its inception, New Hampshire Housing has helped more than 38,000 families purchase their own homes and has been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 14,000 multi-family housing units.
